Bhagavad Gita

What is the Bhagavad-gita? The purpose of Bhagavad-gita is to deliver mankind from the miseries of material existence. Every person is in difficulty in so many ways, due to the temporary nature of this world. Arjuna also was in difficulty in having to fight the Battle of Kurukshetra and he surrendered unto Sri Krishna, and consequently the Bhagavad-gita was spoken. Not only Arjuna, but every one of us is full of anxieties because of this material existence. We are in the middle of the battlefield of life and its challenges. In the Bhagavad Gita Krishna explains to Arjuna how to live in the world and yet not be affected by the madness of the world. We have summarised each chapter and the lessons to be learnt from these important teachings of Lord Krishna.
