Help Us Find Nabhi Nandan Das — Missing After the Nepal–Tibet Floods
On 26 August 2026, our family’s lives changed forever.
Our mum’s cousin, Nabhi Nandan Das, a gentle, spiritual and deeply loved 65‑year‑old British citizen, went missing during the devastating floods that struck the Rasuwagadhi area on the Nepal–Tibet border. He had been travelling on a pilgrimage with Alpine Eco Trek, visiting the immigration office between Nepal and Tibet, when the disaster hit without warning.
Since then, we have had no contact.
His last WhatsApp activity was at 3:57am UK time on 26 August.
No messages.
No calls.
No updates.
Just silence.
Nabhi was part of a group whose whereabouts remain unknown. Entire communities were swept away. Roads collapsed. Communications vanished. Families across Nepal and Tibet are still searching for loved ones. Every hour without news is heartbreaking.
But we will not stop searching for him.
🌿 Who Nabhi Is
To the world, he may be one of many missing people.
To us, he is everything.
Nabhi is a father, a brother, a cousin, a friend.
He is kind, patient, gentle and spiritual.
He is the person who always helped others, who prayed for everyone, who believed in compassion and peace.
He travelled to Nepal seeking spiritual connection and he deserves to be found and brought home.
🔎 What We Are Doing Right Now
Our family is working around the clock. We are:
- contacting Nepalese and Tibetan authorities
- checking hospital, rescue and border‑police records
- speaking with witnesses, guides and local contacts
- sharing missing‑person appeals
- monitoring updates from both sides of the border
- coordinating with search teams
- following every possible lead
People who were initially listed as missing are still being found.
We hold onto that hope with everything we have
